For products that had suffered significant corrosion in gas corrosion tests under conventional plating specifications, we proposed special nickel plating. As a result, corrosion resistance in the two-gas corrosion test was greatly improved, and we also succeeded in reducing the nickel film thickness. Currently, its application to power contacts has been decided and is in progress.
